Michael J. Kosta

Mr. Kosta joined Kluczynski, Girtz & Vogelzang in 1995. He was a member of the firm’s management committee for several years before becoming the firm’s president in 2015 to present. He specializes in the area of workers’ disability compensation representing municipalities, self-insured and insured clients throughout the State of Michigan.

Mr. Kosta is admitted to practice in Federal Court and is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the State Bar of Michigan.

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1994. While attending law school, Mr. Kosta served as a clerk for the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Indiana
Mr. Kosta also serves as a Director for the Roger B. Chaffee Scholarship Fund, a yearly merit scholarship for an outstanding student in Kent County pursuing a STEM degree.
