Jessica M. Stark-Flechsig

Attorney & Shareholder

Jessica Stark-Flechsig is a shareholder at KGV, where her practice focuses on workers’ compensation, employer civil rights defense, and civil litigation, including the defense of school districts. She represents clients across a broad range of matters and is committed to delivering practical, effective solutions both in and out of the courtroom.

Ms. Stark-Flechsig graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2015 with a concentration in Intellectual Property. During law school, she served as an editor on Law Review, completed an externship in the legal department at Meijer’s corporate headquarters, and held several leadership positions, including president of the Intellectual Property Law Society and class representative for the Student Bar Association. She also competed in intra-school Mock Trial competitions and received the Leadership Achievement Award.

Before law school, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Physics from Grand Valley State University. During that time, she also gained leadership experience as the coordinator for multiple beginner ice skating programs, then the Director and head coach of a non-profit competitive figure skating club. She began her career at KGV as a summer file clerk and returned as a law clerk following law school before joining the firm as an attorney.

When she’s not practicing law, Jessica can most often be found outdoors, training and hunting with her two Large Munsterlanders, camping, fishing, skiing, or just about any other activity that gets her outside. She also enjoys yoga and teaching ice skating.
