Jessica M. Stark
Attorney
Ms. Stark graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2015 with a concentration in Intellectual Property. During her time at Cooley, Ms. Stark served as an editor on Law Review and held an externship in the legal department at Meijer corporate headquarters. She was also president of the Intellectual Property Law Society, class representative for the Student Bar Association, a member of the Environmental Law Organization, and competed in two intra-school Mock Trial competitions. Ms. Stark also received the Leadership Achievement award while at Cooley.
Ms. Stark obtained a Bachelor of Science in physics from Grand Valley State University. While working towards her degree in physics, Ms. Stark coached competitive figure skating and went on to serve as Director of a non-profit figure skating organization for two years. She also spent a summer as a file clerk for KGV just before completing her undergraduate degree.
Returning to KGV after law school, Ms. Stark spent several months as a law clerk before being admitted to practice law. Now as an associate attorney for KGV, Ms. Stark’s focuses include both research and litigation in a variety of areas of law.
When not practicing law, Ms. Stark enjoys yoga and spending time outdoors. She can also be found at local ice rinks teaching learn-to-skate classes once or twice a week.
